The Bismarck Public School’s Career Academy is one example of the industry and education partnership. A world class career and technical education center located in Bismarck, the Career Academy works in conjunction with Bismarck State College to prepare students in technical careers which can be customized to a company’s needs.
Strategic Location
Bismarck-Mandan’s strategic location along Interstate-94 and U.S. Highway 83 provides access to markets across the upper Midwest and establishes our community as a natural logistical hub. The region is served by two Class-1 railroads in Burlington Norther Santa Fe and CanadianPaci c Rail as well as numerous daily ights to locations including Minneapolis-St. Paul, Denver, Chicago O’Hare, and Dallas-Fort Worth.

The region is home to a large Doosan Bobcat manufacturing facility and many small manufacturers, including those that provide parts to larger OEMs like Bobcat-Doosan, Titan Machinery and John Deere Electronic Solutions.
