The Chamber EDC is now accepting applications for the Chamber’s Student 2021/2022 program!
Open to juniors and seniors in all Bismarck-Mandan private and public high schools, the Chamber EDC’s Student Leadership Network is a program that aims to elevate our young adults into the professional world. This is done through a series of experiences the students go through to learn more about our community as a whole.
Leadership and career development, financial literacy, and college readiness are some of the skills and education they will benefit from through this program. The students meet one day a month, for 2 hours out of school. The program includes six board meetings in addition to an opening and closing event. This program is an honorable activity for students to list on college applications and job resumes.
If you know a young professional in junior or senior years of high school and is driven to learn about our community and have an interest in civic activities, please apply!
The application process is simple. The application form, which includes an essay of 200 words or less can be found here. All answers are to be typed when submitted. Students are encouraged to apply regardless of grades, but must be responsible enough to know that school comes first!
Deadline to apply is Friday September 24th, 2021! For any questions or interest in the Student Leadership Network program, please contact the Chamber EDC, 701-223-5660 or aeggert@bmcedc.com.
